  • If you have traced your family history to a specific country, religion or occupation, check out The National Archives What's Your Story guides for their advice.
  • The Society of Genealogists is the National Library and Education Centre for Family History, and offers unrivalled knowledge on the subject - be sure to visit them on stand 1025 for help on breaking through your brick walls.
  • The Society of Genealogists' Workshop Programme features over 100 workshops over the weekend, and there is sure to be something to interest you. There is sure to be something to help you, whether you have encountered a problem to overcome, discovered an ancestor from a particular country or region, or wish to explore the subject of DNA.
  •  The Ancestry.co.uk Academy is running sessions on how to use Ancestry.co.uk if you are an intermediate user, so ensure you drop by and learn how to make the most of this resource.
  • Visit the DNA Workshop supported by Family Tree DNA to discover how science can help reveal your family heritage.

  • The Society of Genealogists Family History Show is a fantastic resource, with scores of local family history societies and small specialist companies, all with the information, knowledge, products and services to help you further your research.

 

And of course, whatever stage you have reached in your research, you can enjoy the celebrity sessions in the Who Do You Think You Are? Theatre, take your photographs to the Truprint Photography Gallery to have them identified, dated, digitised or restored, and visit the Military Memorabilia Checkpoint with your military heirlooms, artefacts and documents to discover the stories behind them. There is also a host of exhibitors with information, products and services of general historical interest, so be sure to explore and feed your passions.
