EstherESTHER RANTZEN

We are delighted to announce that Esther Rantzen will be appearing at Who Do You Think You Are? LIVE 2010 on Sunday 28th February.

Esther's family history is one of the most varied to have been unveiled on Who Do You Think You Are?, so we are delighted that she will be at the show to share these stories with us. The rumours Esther had heard of a family 'black sheep' were confirmed when she learned that her great grandfather was not only charged with fraud, but had also shot and fatally wounded his father's servant in a tragic accident.

However, research also uncovered a family connection to a diamond magnate  who left the generous inheritance that lifted the family, descended from Jewish immigrants, out of poverty.

Esther's journey finally ended in Poland, where she discovered a string of tragedies and traced her surname back to 1769.

To hear Esther discuss her incredible story, and also hear about the shocking discoveries she has made since the programme, visit Who Do You Think You Are? LIVE on Sunday 28th February.
